Thanks to Elizabeth at The Wisdom of Whores for bringing this one to my attention. It reminded me of a night out in Bangkok. Seating at the Balcony Bar, one of my favourite hang out in Silom Soi 4 (The staff is funnier than at the more Hi-So Telephone), I watched a tall and handsome foreigner in his late thirties seating at the table next to mine chatting with a “Boy”. It was at the time when the latest frenzy was to Make Powerty History and the “Farang” (foreigner) was wearing one of these white elactic arm band with the slogan. I then thought that powerty would be history for at least someone tonight.
